Belizean Shot & Killed in the U.S., Before Husband Turns Gun on Himself
A murder-suicide claimed the lives of a Belizean woman and her American husband. Thirty-five-year-old Rushan Tucker was shot and killed by her husband Malcolm Tucker on Sunday morning in their Seattle, Washington home. According to online media reports, Tucker, who lived in Belize City before relocating to the United States about ten years ago, was at home alone with her husband when the tragedy happened. Reports are that forty-nine-year-old Malcolm Tucker dropped his eight-year-old and nineteen-year-old daughters at a coffee shop on Sunday and promised to return for them. But instead he returned home where he shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself. But before Tucker killed himself, his daughter reportedly texted him because he never returned and he in turn replied to say that he and his wife are gone. His daughters became worried and called nine-one-one and when the authorities took them home to check on their parents, there they discovered the Tuckers dead with gunshots to the head. U.S. media are reporting that Tucker was planning to leave her husband and that may be the reason why she was murdered.
