A Pair of Teens Charged With Murder of Eleazar Chan
Two men have been charged for the murder of Eleazar Chan, including a fifteen-year-old. Police say that on Wednesday they arrested and charged nineteen-year-old Ronaldo Marin and the minor for Chan’s murder that happened on April first in Corozal. Today at the routine press brief, Assistant Commissioner of Police Joseph Myvett disclosed how police were able to capture the teenagers almost three months later.

“Police have arrested and charged two persons namely Ronaldo Marin, a nineteen-year-old and a fifteen-year-old minor for the murder of Eleazar Chan which occurred on April first in the San Pedro Area in Corozal.”

“Well, police investigation and the evidence gathered led to their detention and eventual arrest.”

“Yes. They did.”

“To some extent yes but I believe we were already on a certain track with the investigation so it is not solely based on that.”
