Ladyville Police Gets 2 Motorcycles

Two Honda motorcycles were donated to the City Council Traffic Department by Fantasy Five winner Hernan Serrano.  Today, the generous bus owner was in his home village to handover two more cycles, this time to the Ladyville Police Station for crime fighting initiatives.  A News Five team stopped in at the handing over where Serrano and the police spoke about the donation.

“It is a pleasure to me to donate these two bikes to the Police Department’s police station in Ladyville for whatever it is to convenience more the officers who patrol the village. It is an intention that I have a long time ago. So, the opportunity came and I say let’s do it.  I am happy to cooperate with the police department to be more vigilant in the community.”

“Rest assured that these will be put to good use, very good use. We are so grateful for this donation which will add to our patrol resources. I ask the business community out there to emulate Mr. Serrano, not only us the police will be grateful but the entire community should be grateful because these motorcycles will be added to our patrol resources which will assist the entire community.”

“With just the brief conversation I had with Mr. Serrano, I must say that the interaction I had with him really humbled myself. We’d like to him for his kindness and generosity, and it is only when we as a police department improve our services to the public, we will be able to continue to generate great public – private partnership such as this. The two cycles Mr. Serrano donated today will be put to good use and it will be utilized to secure the community and enhance citizen security even greater than before.”
