Esso Gas Station attendants robbed
Three attendants at the Esso Gas Station on Freetown Road were hit by four robbers on Thursday night. At twenty-minutes after eight, thirty-four year old John Diaz Junior was the first to be approached by an armed man who demanded money from him. Just as Diaz handed over two hundred and forty-three dollars, another armed robber came on the scene. He held another gas attendant, twenty-nine year old Dwight Jackson, at gunpoint while he searched his pockets and took four hundred and fifty dollars in cash and a cellular phone. At that point nineteen year old Anthony Broaster was robbed of his gold chain and seven hundred dollars cash by two more attackers. The men made off with a total of two thousand five hundred and ninety-three dollars in cash.
