P.U.P. Standard Bearer Says Re-registration Process in BRN Sparked Political Attack

According to Marconi Leal, his trouble started when he intervened in the re-registration of Castro’s niece, who he claims lives in Los Angeles, California and therefore does not have the two-month residency requirement.

“I am presently working on the re-registration process in the Rural North area and I believe this has come up because simply because just last week, my opponent’s niece came from the states to have a party in Maskall, but after that party, before she went back, she decided to get registered in Rural North. And I jumped on it and I believe that this is one of the reasons why this came out at the point. And I believe this is why this allegation and everything is coming at me. The U.D.P. camp is lashing out on me.”

We reached out to Minister Castro this afternoon for comment, but we got no response.
