Roaring Creek knight in shining armour stabbed

A Belmopan man is recovering from multiple stab wounds, a consequence of helping a woman being attacked. According to officers from the capital city, around 2:30 Sunday morning, Clifford Matute of Roaring Creek was at a dance at Chun’s Bar in the village when he saw a couple get into a fight. Matute told the cops that when he tried to intervene on behalf of the woman, another man known as Eddy “Ghost” Chen attacked him with a machete. Matute was rushed to the Belmopan Hospital with stab wounds to the chest and cuts to his head and right arm. Police have yet to detain “Ghost” for questioning.
