Suspected Murderer of Samuel Cosme Remanded to Prison

Thirty-three-year-old Reainard Randey Ferguson is at the Belize Central Prison tonight. He was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford today for the murder of forty-three-year-old Samuel Cosme. No plea was taken and bail was not offered. Ferguson will remain in a cell block until his next court date on October third, 2018. Cosme was found fatally stabbed on Monday morning on a road off the Phillip Goldson Highway near the Haulover Bridge. His red Ford Ranger pickup was found about four hundred meters away from his body. Investigators believe that it was a crime of opportunity. Cosme was stabbed to the chest, abdomen, back and hand.
