Accountant Detained in Connection with Forgery and Theft Case

There are very few details of a developing story in the Cayo District. Accountant Flavio Tzalam who has been with Santander, the Spanish company operating out of Valley of Peace is in plenty trouble with the law tonight. He is facing charges of theft and forgery in connection with over two hundred thousand dollars that were allegedly embezzled from the sugar company. The monies were for income tax and social security contributions on behalf of employees. Tzalam is detained at the Belmopan Police Station.
