Fire on Glyn Street, Again

There was also a fire in the city today.  It happened after twelve o’clock on Glyn Street where neighbors of the burning abandoned structure were seen trying to save important items. Fortunately, no one was injured during the blaze as quick firefighting response prevented the fire from spreading to the adjoining houses. The fire could have been much worse as Jenny Trapp explained.

Voice of: Jenny Trapp, Resident of Glyn Street

“First, it was just smoke and afterwards the big flame started to blaze up.”

Hipolito Novelo

“Did this building started to catch on fire?”

Voice of: Jenny Trapp

“Yes. The roof and some of the windows were already catching.

Hipolito Novelo

“So after you decide to remove yourself from the house, what else happened? “

Voice of: Jenny Trapp

“I went downstairs and they came to out the fire.”

Hipolito Novelo

“How long did it take for the firefighters to arrive?”

Voice of: Jenny Trapp

“Like five to ten minutes.”

Hipolito Novelo

“Did you fear that this house…”

Voice of: Jenny Trapp

“Yes, because we already had a threat on it. The last time three of them were gone and now my house almost caught again. I was worried too because where will me and my daughters go? Why we have to go through this again? Just frustrate me and makes me think to move to other place because it does not give me a good feeling.”

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
