Spirit of Ubuntu Award presented to Joel ‘Dara’ Robinson
In some positive news, one of Belize City’s promoters was recognized today for his sterling contribution to the community as part of Education Week. Minister of Education, Patrick Faber, presented the second annual Spirit of Ubuntu Award to Joel ‘Dara’ Robinson. Robinson, who is known for keeping the spirit of Bob Marley alive in Belize, has also been a “Good Samaritan” to children of two schools providing them with meals and he plans to include more schools in his program. The name of the award refers to an African philosophy which means ‘I am because we are.’
