A Mid-Afternoon Fire in San Ignacio
A fire ignited at an abandoned house on Joseph Andrews Drive in San Ignacio. The blaze erupted after three o’clock this afternoon across from the Falcon Field Park in San Ignacio and in proximity to the Town Hall in the western municipality. Residents say that the abandoned wooden building is occupied primarily by homeless persons. At the time of the fire, no one was inside the building and fire department responded and managed to put out the blaze before it could spread.
