Goldson’s grave improved, but date is wrong
Another Belizean, honoured during his life as one of the nation’s greatest political figures, is receiving some new attention less than a year after his death. Today contractors were putting the final touches on a new monument and other improvements to the gravesite of Philip Goldson at Lord’s Ridge Cemetery. We are not certain when or whether the grave will have an official dedication, but it is worth calling the attention of authorities to what appears to be an error on the gravestone. The date of death is engraved as October third, 2002 instead of 2001.
