Ten More Days Until Mass Re-registration Concludes

Ten thousand, one hundred and forty-one registration applications were received by the Election and Boundaries Department between August twelfth and eighteen. This is a slight increase when compared to the week prior. So far, a total of one hundred and one thousand, and fourteen applications have been received through the registration centres spread across the country. This represents a significant shortfall, as the department is far from reaching its two-hundred-thousand application target. The registration centres will close on August thirty-first, after which anyone wanting to register will need to visit the Election and Boundaries office in their respective municipality. The department is encouraging all qualified persons to register today.
