Eugene Tillett Charged for Robbery of Elderly Bank Customer
Investigators have not recovered any of the money stolen from seventy-nine-year-old Harold Williams at his home on Monday afternoon. They have, nonetheless, made significant inroads in catching up with one man whom they believe was the mastermind behind the robbery of the elderly Kings Park resident. Forty-one-year-old Eugene Tillett has been arrested and charged with robbery and damage to property and was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford earlier today. He is one of three men suspected to have followed Williams home from Scotiabank on the Philip Goldson Highway and robbed him of fifteen thousand dollars in cash downstairs of his home at the corners of Dunn and Landivar Streets.
