Still No Arrests in OW Double Hit on Triminio & Calderon
The murders of Junior Triminio and Christopher Calderon remain unsolved, despite investigators impounding a vehicle believed to have been used in the flight of their killers. The deadly shootings took place in Orange Walk Town on Sunday, August nineteenth as the pair was socializing a short distance away from where a football tournament was being held for young athletes. It is believed that the attack was triggered by an ongoing turf war between rival groups in the area. As we reported on Thursday, police have made a break in the case by confiscating a rental vehicle they suspect was used during the getaway. That aside, an arrest is yet to be made.
