American National Missing in Southern Belize
American national Sherris Stringhan is missing. The sixty-seven-year-old who lives in Hopkins Village was last seen on Saturday, August twenty-fifth. According to police, Stringham and her vehicle, a green Nissan Exterra with a toucan sticker on the right bumper, were reported missing on Monday of this week. Stringham’s friends report that her disappearance is suspicious because her purse and wallet were left behind at her house. The last time her family spoke with her was between three on Saturday afternoon and sometime around seven p.m. that night but since then no one has been able to make contact with her. Her friends became concerned she never showed up for their planned get-together on Sunday and Monday. According to her friends, she had a trip planned to Missouri for around this time, but they just learnt she cancelled the trip at the last minute. This was verified when they made immigration checks and they found out that there is no record that she left Belize. If you have any information on Stringham’s whereabouts, you are asked to call the nearest police station.
