Mathew Smith is Targeted While Buying Food Near Fibbers
Thirty-year-old Mathew Smith escaped grave injury on Tuesday night after being shot once in the upper right arm near the corners of Johnson Street and Cemetery Road. The incident happened shortly before ten p.m. while Smith was purchasing food at a stand on Cemetery Road. According to the victim, he was approached by a pair of men who fired multiple shots at him. At the time of the attack a police officer was also making a purchase an returned fire. Smith remains hospitalized at the KHMH where he is listed in stable condition.
