Controversy Over Results of Carnival King & Queen Competition

There is controversy brewing over the results of this year’s carnival King and Queen Competition. The event was held on Saturday night at the Marion Jones Stadium. But when the results for the senior king category were announced, Belizean Jewel came out on top. Earlier today, the National Institute of Culture and History announced that the results are being audited at the firm of Cedric D. Flowers Certified Public Accountant.  In advance of the findings, NICH says that there may be implications for the results. As we understand it, the change will be where Titans won the senior king category, with Belizean Jewel second and Mother Nature’s Creation third.
