Post-Mortem of Daniel Lopez and Francis Pollard concluded today

Six persons were murdered over the weekend in Belize City. The results of post-mortems conducted on two victims were released today.  Daniel Lopez, a delivery man, died from internal and external bleedings due to multiple organ damage from multiple gunshot wounds. Lopez was killed on Friday night after the murder of Shakedi Baizar.  Lopez, an employee of Chon Saan, went to deliver food at the corner of Basra and George Streets when he was killed by a hail of bullets. George Street resident Shane McFoy has been arrested for the murder of the twenty-five-year-old. In respect of Francis Ervin Pollard, his death was caused by trauma due to multiple gunshot wounds.  Pollard was shot multiple times on Doris Brooks Crescent and succumbed while receiving treatment at the K.H.M.H.  Investigators have confirmed that both murders are gang-related.
