Prison officer behind bars after incident on the basketball court

Also in the courts, the tables have turned on a prison officer and he now finds himself behind bars. Deayroll Dougal appeared before Magristrate Edd P. Usher today charged with Aggravated Assault with a firearm. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded into custody until June fifteenth. Dougal is charged in connection with a report made by Aaron Jimenez, who claims that while he was playing basketball at the City Center on April twentieth, he became embroiled in an argument with the accused. According to Jimenez, after the game he was shot and wounded while leaving the compound. Dougal was also in court yesterday on a charge of Wounding for the same incident. He pleaded not guilty and was released on bail of one thousand dollars. That case comes back to court in early June.
