3 Week Later, Wayne Welch is Charged for the Attempted Murder of Dawn Parchue
In late August, we reported on a shooting incident on Mahogany Street where Dawn Parchue had been shot multiple times to the body. The attempt made on her life was as a result of an altercation minutes earlier with a group of persons at a restaurant in the area. Three weeks later, police were able to detain the alleged shooter, who had been on the run. On Friday, police formally arrested and charged twenty-four-year-old plumber Wayne Welch with the crime of Attempted Murder, Dangerous Harm and Use of Deadly Means of Harm.
