Suicide in Bella Vista?
This morning, shortly after nine, Intermediate Southern Formation officers were called to an apartment building in Bella Vista Village. There, they made a shocking discovery of a thirty-year-old man who had apparently ingested a pesticide. Police have linked his death to the case of a fifteen-year-old girl, also of San Isidro Village who was rushed to the Independence Polyclinic where it has been determined that she also ingested pesticide. Police are looking into the possibility that there was a relationship between the two.
ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch
“Upon arrival in one of the apartments, they saw the lifeless body of a Mayan descent person later identified as Felistino Ash, thirty years of San Isidro Village. Upon closer examination conducted on the room, a pesticide container was found inside the room. His body was removed and transported to the Dangriga morgue and police investigation into the matter continues. Also prior to the police arrival, a fifteen year old female minor was also rushed to the Independence Polyclinic where she is currently in a stable condition. Our investigation has revealed that the minor was along with the deceased before she was taken to the polyclinic for treatment.”
