Story Picture
“Choose Today” is the theme of a men’s rally organised by the group Belizean Brothers in Christ. Its goal is to bring Belizean men closer to their families and communities. Founder of the Brothers, Tony Young, says this first time event is scheduled for Saturday at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk Town.

“We intend to teach men to be Brothers in Christ and also to be men of integrity, so that they will be more responsive to their families and the way they are treating their wives, as far as loving their wife. And, to be more active in the community and along in their churches. We’re inviting all denominations. We’re expecting all the men, along with their sons. And also, we’re expecting to share life a brotherly love. We have eight speakers, which we have seven promises, and each pastor will take a promise. Our special guest speaker is Pastor Mitch Dowell from Waukegan, Illinois.”

The rally starts at 9:00 a.m. and runs until three in the afternoon. Men from all over the country are asked to attend and bring their sons.
