PM Barrow Returns to Belize
Prime Minister Dean Barrow is back in the country. He was in Cuba for spinal surgery which he underwent on September fourth. The PM arrived at the Philip Goldson International Airport on an American Airline flight. He was picked up by his driver and swiftly departed the airport. But he did make a stop while departing the P.G.I.A. A group of supporters were there to meet the PM with a welcome home sign. He got out of his vehicle, walking slowly, to greet them. A parliamentary caucus was held today as well as a cabinet meeting, minus the PM. The DPM, we are told, will also lead the government side of the aisle at Friday’s house meeting as the Prime Minister continues with the recovery from surgery.
