Singer releases Mother’s Day CD

Mother’s Day is still more than a week away, but it’s never too early to start thinking about what you are going to do for those special women in your life. One Belize City man has penned his emotions into a song and this week stopped by our backyard studio to talk about “Mother, this is your day.”

“I’ve dedicated this song that I’ve wrote, the single from off the album “Blessed Hope”. And I just felt led to bring out this (song) as a single to all mothers for the hard times many mothers go through to raise their family. And it also speaks about parents, mothers that have passed away and they sometimes on Mother’s Day you kind feel sad to know that they have passed on and you don’t have mother to give a gift to or something like that…you could listen to the song, it speaks about reflection of you that are missed and remembered. It’s a combination about those that are alive and those that have passed on, it brings a hope to you anyway you look at it.”
