Corozal seafront gets facelift
It’s called “La Plaza de Trabajador” in honour of Belizean workers, and Labour Day was the obvious choice for its official inauguration. The beautification project, involving a new seawall and street lights for the seaside of Corozal Town was funded by Central government to the tune of three hundred thousand dollars. Speaking at Wednesday’s ceremonies were Corozal Bay representative Vildo Marin, and Deputy Prime Minister Johnny Briceno.
