Free Zone company burglarized of $10,000 in cash and goods
And in crime news up north, a business in the Corozal Free Zone was busted between six and nine this past Monday morning. The store named the Multi Marcas Company is now short of some ten thousand dollars in cash and items. Thirty-seven year old Manager, Alma Quan, reported to police that upon reaching her workplace and making checks, she discovered that the rear metal curtain was pried open. The cash register containing a total of seven thousand four hundred in cash and an assortment of perfumes were missing. One person was detained for the crime, but has been released.
