O.W. man shot in bar brawl
A Sunday afternoon bar brawl has left a man from the Orange Walk District suffering from gunshot wounds to his face. Details from police are sketchy, but apparently Ramiro August and a man identified only as “Julio” started fighting. August says his opponent pulled out a gun, hit him over the head several times with it and then fired twice in his direction. One of the shots hit August in the face and he was rushed to the Orange Walk hospital where he remains in a stable condition. Meanwhile, police have yet to detain “Julio” for questioning.
