Victim’s ex-girlfriend detained in shooting death
On Saturday, a Belize City man was gunned down and left to die on the street. According to police reports, twenty-nine year old Mark Henry was on Waight Street in the Yarborough Area when he was shot twice. Police have since detained two people: Henry’s ex-girlfriend and another young man. While police have yet to file charges, Henry’s family is convinced the former lover is responsible for the crime.
