Credit Union Quiz Competition Takes Place in Dangriga

Saint John’s Credit Union held its annual Father Marion Ganey Quiz Competition in Dangriga on Friday. It’s a competition to raise awareness of financial literacy and the credit union movement among parents, teachers and students. The students from six Dangriga schools studied two hundred questions about the credit union movement in Belize in order to prepare for the quiz. After several rounds of competition, Serenity Levy of Christ the King Anglican School took first place, Kyanna Arana also of Christ the King Anglican School placed second and Miracle Ciego of Epworth Methodist came in third. The first and second place winners will be representing Dangriga in the national competition next month.
