Kimberly Audinett’s mother’s day gift is a baby

Channel Five has been recognizing and awarding deserving mothers on the occasion of this year’s Mother’s Day. The giving continued today and we went to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, to present a gift basket to the mom who gave birth to the first baby on Mother’s Day for 2009. She’s Kimberly Audinett and she welcomed her second child, a healthy seven pound baby boy, into the world at four-fifteen Sunday morning.

“Hi Kimberly, my name is Marleni Cuellar and on behalf of Channel Five, we wanna wish you congratulations, first of all, and we wanted to give you this prize for having the first baby born on Mother’s Day this year.”

The baby has not yet been named. Other mothers who were honoured are from Haven House, Sister Cecilia and the Dorothy Menzies Homes as well as the outstanding nurse and helper from the K.H.M.H.
