Some Solutions on the Horizon for School’s Sewerage Problem

There is some good news coming out of Sacred Heart Primary School. Today, we got an update from Principal Philippa Hulett and she says they have found a solution to the massive sewerage problem that caused the school to shut down. Details of that plan will be shared with the media later this week. We were told that students are not back yet in class, but the school wants to fix that and so an urgent parent meeting will be held on Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Dangriga. Principal Hulett says the engineer did a full assessment last week and a technical adviser is now providing guidance on the way forward.
