Zeta is Robbed Too!!

The rash of armed robberies is not limited to Belize City.  On Thursday morning, just before two o’clock, a trio of men stormed the Zeta compound in Ladyville and accosted a security officer on duty.  According to the watchman, the men bound his arms and legs before making their way inside the building.  There they proceeded to steal an undisclosed sum of money before making good their escape.  Investigator Wilfredo Ferrufino shared more on that incident.

“On the first of November, at about 4:15 a.m., Ladyville police were called to the Zeta compound, this would be at thirteen and a half miles on the Philip Goldson Highway where they spoke with the security guard who indicated that at about 1:50 a.m., whilst he was in the security booth, he was making a log in the security logbook when he was approached by three individuals, one of whom was armed and they subsequently tied him up arms and legs and they entered the establishment.  At this time all we know is that there is a large amount of undisclosed cash.  The investigation is ongoing as we speak.”
