Scammed Investors Won Case against Sittee River Wildlife Reserve

The case brought against Sittee River Wildlife Reserve by Colleen Strom over the Sanctuary Bay scam was not the first and might certainly not be the last. Previous to Strom’s case, Attorney Estevan Perera represented another victim of the scam. That individual is U.S. citizen Steven Liss, who like Strom, paid thousands of dollars to own a lot in Belize as part of the Sanctuary Bay investment scheme.

“We have assisted a client in the past along with another law firm. We have a judgment against Sittee River Wildlife River. This is our second client and we have a number of them we are currently speaking with that are concerned with the activities that are going on there right now and the return of their funds.”

“And the previous one, has that reach its conclusion or not yet?”

“That one did reach its conclusion. The outcome in that matter we were sent to arbitration and a decision was made for Sittee River Wildlife Reserve to return the funds to the claimant. We were then brought to court for the enforcement part of that case. They still haven’t paid as yet.”
