Student drowns in Corozal
A student has drowned while swimming in Corozal Bay. According to police, around eleven a.m. on Thursday seventeen year old Elden Butler of Calcutta Village was bathing near the area known as Miami Beach. Witnesses say he was seen to go under the water and not resurface. Butler was pronounced dead on arrival at Corozal Hospital.
