Man stabbed to death in Pomona
A community leader in Pomona Village has been stabbed to death. Details are sketchy, but around three Sunday morning following a village social event, thirty-nine year old Alvin Cain, a former village chairman, was involved in a dispute with Gilbert Requena, a twenty-nine year old security guard of Silk grass Village. According to police, Requena pulled out a knife and stabbed Cain in his chest. Cain died on the way to Southern Regional Hospital. Requena has been charged with murder.
