2 Armed Men Hold up Tacos Vendor in O.W.

On Sunday afternoon, two men attempted to rob a tacos vendor in Orange Walk Town.  One of the robbers was armed with a handgun, but quick response from the police led to the detention of a minor from Carmelita Village. ACP Joseph Myvett says they are investigating this incident and are yet to determine if charges will be levied on the teenager.

“On Sunday, the eighteenth of November, Orange Walk police responded to information of a robbery at a tacos vendor stand at the Orange Walk Market. As a result, one person has since been detained pending this investigation. No charges have yet been proffered against this person, so I will not release his name.”
