Skydivers descend on Belize City
It’s been home to athletics, football, cycling and carnival, but this afternoon spectators at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex witnessed a different type of event. Skydivers from the Aerial Circus Skydiving Team dropped in as part of their nationwide tour sponsored by Maya Island Air. The airline, which recently celebrated its fortieth anniversary, this week opened a new terminal in Dangriga and plans to build more around the nation. The four member aerial circus is based in California and performs worldwide, jumping into venues as varied as jungle clearings and big city parks.
