Dangriga Police Shoots ‘Boisterous’ Man
Dangriga resident, Nelson Jackson is tonight recuperating from a gunshot wound he received on the right leg. Jackson was shot by a police officer on Tuesday. At this morning’s press briefing, ACP Joseph Myvett explained that Jackson was being boisterous in front of a local business establishment and officers were called in to calm him down. The police say that Jackson then made moves to pull something out of his waist and this prompted one of the responding cops to shoot Jackson on the right leg.
