Student cracks Lotto jackpot
A U.B. student is the youngest Belizean ever to win the lotto jackpot. On Saturday night, twenty year old Susan Ferguson was the lucky person with the right combination to claim a sixty-seven thousand dollar cash prize. An elated Ferguson told News 5 this afternoon that she never dreamed that one of the two tickets she bought would earn her all that money.

After a fifteen percent tax deduction, Ferguson takes home just over fifty-seven thousand dollars.
