Belize Bank Spreads Xmas Cheer with Stella Maris Students

One hundred and three students from Stella Maris School were filled with joy today as Belize Bank Limited threw its tenth annual Christmas party for the children. The purpose is to spread Christmas Cheer for the children, who in some cases, would not participate in these types of merriment. This year’s Christmas festivities took place at Old Belize where the children were treated to gifts and enjoyed the company of their friends and of course, the one and only, Santa Clause.

“When they arrived they were greeted by Ozzy the Clown. He performed for us, a lot of games and activities for about an hour and a half. We have face painting. We have a bouncy house. Old Belize was kind enough to offer complimentary train rides as well as the venue free of charge.  So this year we went large. It started at the Bank’s anniversary and we just felt that it is something that we should continue. The warmth, the smile on the kids’ faces is something we, the staff, look forward to.”

“I cannot express myself how grateful we are to Belize Bank for the tenth year of doing this. We know it might not be easy, it might be a bit costly, but we thank them. We appreciate them very much. And we know that our children look forward to it every year to see the smile and the children faces when they come and they are being entertained and when they see Santa Claus coming in, oh my gosh it is breathtaking.”
