Suspect being sought for two incidents
Tonight, police need your help in capturing a suspect involved in two separate incidents. Authorities say Herman “Yagga” Morris is wanted in connection with a shooting incident and aggravated burglary that occurred seven days apart. On Wednesday, twenty-year old Mark Saragosa reported to police that around 5:30 that evening, he was at the corner of Jasmine and Mahogany streets when four masked men approached him on bicycles. Saragosa claims that one of the men then knocked him to the ground while another pulled out a gun and fired a shot in his direction. Saragosa says he ran into some nearby bushes and that is when he saw the shooter removed his mask. Police say Saragosa identified Morris as the assailant. At this time police cannot say whether Saragosa was attacked because of another incident in which he was detained and Morris allegedly involved.
According to police, around 11:30 p.m. on February seventh, fifty-nine year old, Dr. Inov Eurebua, a Nigerian national and medical doctor, told police that as he was about to enter his house when three dark complexioned men approached him, took away his house keys and entered the building. Once inside the house, Eurebua says the men beat him up, ransacked the place and stole an undetermined amount of cash. The doctor reported that the burglars were attempting to tie him up with a telephone wire, but when they heard a vehicle pull up outside, they quickly fled the scene. As a result of the attack, Eurebua sustained injuries to his right arm, left eye and ear. If you know the whereabouts of Herman “Yagga” Morris, please contact the nearest police station.
