Weekend crimes keep police busy
In other crime news, a Belize City man was stabbed by two assailants on Friday night near the corner of Sittee and Nargusta Streets. Forty-five year old Frank Henry remains in critical condition. On Saturday night thirty-year-old Kenrick Pott was wounded by a shot in the back as he walked down Cemetery Road. Police are looking for one Jervis Valencia in connection with the incident. Also on Saturday night, seventeen-year-old Gion Gomez was stabbed in the chest on Freetown Road when he reportedly refused to react positively to a request for a dollar. On Sunday, police found twenty-six year old Gary Stuart slumped unconscious over his bicycle, suffering from gunshots to the head and back. He was clutching a loaded thirty-eight revolver at the time. Stuart remains in serious condition at the K.H.M.H.
