P.G. store robbed by masked gunmen
The wave of violent crime dominating the headlines has not been confined to the city. On Saturday night in Punta Gorda two masked men armed with a handgun held up the Midway Store on Main Street. They got away with four hundred and seventy-five dollars taken from the assistant manager’s purse. Several people have been detained by police for questioning.
