Police: Teakettle man wasn’t murdered

On our newscast last night we carried a police report on the death of a man as the result of a bar fight in Teakettle Village. Tonight we are informed the deceased, twenty-two year old Alden Smith, may have died from less sinister forces. A post-mortem conducted on Smith’s body determined that his death was the result of acute alcohol poisoning, and signs of violence on his body may have been self-inflicted and not the result of being hit by a set of brass knuckles, as previously reported. Nonetheless, one of the patrons at the bar, twenty-nine year old Carl Moro, has been detained by police pending further investigations.
