On Monday, we told you about a fire along the Stann Creek Valley Roadthat left a family of eight homeless. Sometime after ten a.m. last Saturday, a fire completely destroyed a wooden home in Steadfast Village. The owners of the property were not at home when the blaze started, but were alerted shortly afterwards. The family says they didn’t have a gas tank or electricity at the house and they have no idea what caused the blaze.  Station Officer of the National Fire Service Orin Smith told the media today that they also don’t know as yet what started the fire.
