ATM thieves go before the Corozal Magistrate’s Court
Three Mexican nationals are before the Corozal Magistrate’s Court for several counts of theft of the Atlantic Bank’s A.T.M. The three are Belen Hernandez, Joscan Jaffet Hernandez and Lionel Rodriquez. The first incident happened in November 2017 and police believe more than ten thousand dollars was stolen from the bank. Two months later in January of 2018, Joscan and Belen were charged with two additional counts of theft for cash withdrawals from the bank’s A.T.M. in Corozal. Rodriguez was charged with five counts of theft for taking out about one thousand dollars from the Corozal Branch of the Atlantic Bank. The case has been taking place since last week in the court room of Magistrate Lionel Olivera while attorney Leslie Hamilton is representing the Mexican nationals.
