Brothers arraigned for Aggravated Assault and Freed immediately after

Darrell Usher

Earlier you heard how interdicted cop, thirty-six-year-old Darrel Usher also known as Tutsi describe the horrible conditions at the Queen Street lock up. Well he and his younger brother, thirty-five-year-old Dorian Usher were arraigned in court today and soon after freed. Darrel and Dorian were reportedly involved in a gun play in which Christopher Faber was harmed. The duo was arraigned for aggravated assault with a fireman and harm before Magistrate Emmerson Banner. Both pleaded not guilty and attorney for Dorian, Alifa Elrington, indicated that Faber wanted to address the court. He indicated that he wanted no further action against Dorian so the charge was withdrawn and he was free to go. Next to be arraigned for harm was Tutsi. The complainant also requested no court action so he too was freed. The incident happened on January twenty-seventh while Faber was at Dorian’s house playing cards. Faber made the complaint that Darrel punched him on the face and that he was attacked by Dorian and that shots were also fired.  But today Faber withdrew his complaints and all charges were dropped.
