One dead, three in hospital after weekend accident

A traffic accident on the Northern Highway has left one man dead and three others hospitalised. According to police, thirty-five year old Elvis Dawson of Gardenia Village was heading north when his white Ford pick-up collided head on with a black Caprice car being driven by Patrick Bryant of Belize City. Dawson died at the scene, while Bryant sustained two broken legs and several injuries to his body. At the time of the accident, each vehicle carried a passenger, namely Damon Garbutt of Sandhill and Ian Gordon of San Pedro respectively. All three received multiple injuries and were transported to the K.H.M.H. where they remain in stable condition.
