‘Chop Fi Chop;’ Feuding Ladyville Residents End Up in Court
A pair of feuding Ladyville residents appeared in court today for their alleged involvement in a chopping incident that left both men suffering from injuries to the body. The ‘chop fi chop’ incident occurred last Thursday, February seventh, between Enrique Pandy and Orlando Reyes on Serosi Street in Lord’s Bank. Forty-one-year-old Pandy was first to be called before Magistrate Michelle Trapp and arraigned for wounding. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was given bail of five thousand dollars, plus a surety of the same amount.
But the Magistrate explained that the matter is a cross complaint and so forty-nine-year-old Reyes was also charged, but for the grievous harm of Pandy. Reyes and Pandy were given bail of the same mount. The magistrate ordered that both men are not to interfere with the complainant and must stay one hundred yards away from each other. Both men are due back in court on April sixteenth, 2019.
